One feature I really miss in @TermiusHQ is a kind of CMD+Space type search to quickly go to another tab I am always in 10+ projects/sites at same time For exampel I wanna jump to Interior AI now so I'd wanna do a shortcut like CMD+Shift+P, type "int", it autocompletes to interiorai, and then I press And I am there!
Every day Claude starts to feel more like that angry math teacher you had: preachy, pedantic and condescending Which is a wild experience if you're paying $200/mo+ for a service to get preached by No thanks I'll go with the Chinese models then!

Used Claude Code to connect all my blog posts from starting my nomad travels in 2013 all the way to 2018 from post to post AI is amazing and finding the red line through lots of pieces of content I will try connect 2018 (mostly in Korea) to 2020 back in Europe (COVID) later too It's also great at telling me where there's black spots that have no content and I can write about I wrote most actively 2013-2015 because everything was new while traveling and then slowly less travel blogs, also travel blogging became less and less popular and many stopped around 2016 as people were getting cancelled left and right for just using the wrong words back then! One of my most famous blogger friends quit then for that reason, sadly Now is a different time and you can write whatever you want again freely thank god I still think travel blogging will make a come back, I've been travel blogging a lot on here every time I go somewhere and it's still really fun to write and just as fun to read your experiences years later Your brain changes and it's fun to see your perspective and personality change through posts Anyway if you'd like to read this travel blog chain, you can start here http://levels.io/reset-your-life

Yes I'm starting to believe this too "Avoid the sun" is like saying "never lift weights" because you might get an injury But you have to lift weights, it's a non-negotiable for maintaining your health after age 30 So you have lift weights with proper form and weight for your body preferably with a personal trainer, same as sunlight, you have to be in the sun at specific times at specific UV strengths or you will get sunburns, increase your cancer risk, and it just generally being bad for you During COVID we learnt how important the sun was for due to our collective lack of Vitamin D
@shitcoinity @levelsio You don't have a zero buffer. The early morning and late afternoon (no-UV/low-UVI high IR) balanced exposure is what actually builds the buffer. Sunlight is a strong stressor but non-negotiable for optimal health. Avoiding it is as dangerous as smoking, maybe worse.

Many Europeans rent houses, especially in the city, the land lords (esp in Western Europe but also Southern Europe) usually do not allow AC installation outside because they think it's noisy or simple do not like it Even if you own a home, Europe also has home owner associations (HOAs) that also block AC installation because it looks bad to them Europe's housing stock is also quite old, so they want to preserve the look (think Paris) which is understandable but there's ways to install it without it even being visible (like in the chimney for ex) Then there's the massive bureaucracy, for example in many parts of France installing an AC on the outside means you need a permit to change your building which takes ages and will probably be rejected because again they want to preserve the look So no Europe does not ban AC, but essentially they do make it impossible for most to install AC Get it?

Basta decidir. Com admiração e respeito, -@levelsio

Yes! This is the cool thing about making little sites/apps with Claude Code or whatever coding agent Because you have the site/app and at the same time you have the coding agent to talk to to ask "what should I eat next now?" And it's better than a Claude or ChatGPT as chat app because they forgot stuff and are way too messy The coding agent can just check your SQLite db what you ate, so yes it's about memory

@revolut mini bug: when buying eSIM and selecting auto renew it never auto renews, not when data is low nor when 30 days expires, so probably a lot of missed revenue
View quoted postIt's so easy to make an iOS app with AI!!! I'm finally not iOS-retarded anymore 😊😊😊
And it's made profile pages now, and because Claude Code runs on same server as the site itself it can instantly build an /api route that the iOS app then uses to get the data to put everything in native Swift elements I didn't touch anything, I just prompt, and I also can't

Very cool
🤯 And it worked! It made a basic iOS app in full Swift then made a screenshot and sent me a link to check it! It made it on my Hetzner VPS but then SSH'd into a @macincloud Mac Mini in a datacenter somewhere to then build an app with Xcode on there Very basic but a great
Hit my @Cloudflare Email Sending quota today 😭 Can't send any emails on any of my sites anymore
Another little thing that nothing but Fable could have helped me make today: You can now drag and drop files from your own computer into Windows 3.11 on http://pieter.com The file is saved inside C:\DOCS and if you want to share it with other people you can put it in C:\SHARED It all works with a web filesystem called WebFS and it's very very cool, kind of becoming like a shared library/school computer
Okay I tried the same Null Modem with 👹 DOOM and it works too, it's super laggy though I think because the BAUD rate is 14400 (like 14.4kbps or 1.8 kilobyte per second!) DOOM was the first game that made multiplayer game networking mainstream and it literally invented the word

So @marckohlbrugge told me to finally make a Nomads iOS app today But I didn't want to do it locally because I only Claude Code on VPS now, so I asked it how to do it and it suggested to rent a @MacinCloud (not affiliated) So I did, then handed the login to Claude on my VPS and
Because that means you still have to deploy to a web server Why not just work on the web server? Crazy concept :D
@levelsio @marckohlbrugge @MacinCloud Question, why not having a macbook or mac mini/studio at home or something? I guess you don't want to deal with it being offline or something? :p
View quoted postI'd just make a second page for me to test it before I deploy it then
@levelsio @s13k_ what about stuff that's core/super essential to a product? like say editing or experimenting with the core generation stack for photo ai - is that isolated or still edited live?

It's lovely! 🥰
@levelsio how do you do development like native or something like flutter and test it?

View quoted postEverything I do is on a VPS these days, I do nothing local anymore Local AI coding just costs me battery and slower deploy time vs coding on the VPS with no battery spend and instant deployment! Why deploy when you don't have to deploy!
@levelsio This still looks like Termius. Your local stuff is also tied to your SSH's Claude Code or am I mistaken?
View quoted postNever ever buy a Daikin AC! They limit how many times you can change them to just 150 times per day! We have 7 ACs in the house so that's a limit of 21 instructions per day 😂 completely arbitrary btw, makes no sense, just classic Japanese software design (I didn't buy it, it came with the house, and I've actively been ripping them out and replacing them with Mitsubishi) Other good brands for ACs are LG, Hisense and Haier, can recommend!
Today my Daikin AC required me to accepts its new terms and conditions to continue using it

2 mg Melatonin is 10x too much Melatonin is oddly sold in 10-100x too high doses The right dose for Melatonin is about 0.2-0.3mg or 200-300mcg Very very low taken an hour before sleep to give your natural melatonin production a kickstart, not replace it!
A more European reply does not exist
@levelsio Is this allowed? Curious because when I looked into doing this for making dinner reservations, it's very explicitly against TOS usually wouldn't care that much but Resy is owned by Amex so I didn't want a ban there to affect anything
View quoted post🍌 Got so lazy to order stuff on UberEats that I asked Claude Code to do it Very easy, it just installs Playwright and then you login once to UberEats on web (the iOS app is also just a web wrapper, nice) Then you can just say "order bananas" and it does it!
Shared bed with partner is great for women (+9% sleep) but terrible for men (-19%)
Also, sleeping with your partner in the same room can be a problem. Currently, my wife and I live in different cities, and I've noticed that my sleep has improved. Last year, when we were living together, I was always waking up early because of her alarm. On most weekdays, I

I used to like sleeping at 28C - cause not needing a blanket does feel kinda nice. But this advice is seriously improving my sleep quality lately. Your head is a computer and it doesn't like being hot. P.S I'm now also a proud owner of AC cleaning equipment. People, please clean
